Dr. Preeti Sudheendra, a medical oncologist at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, recently joined the Worth the Wait Advisory Committee.
Dr. Sudheendra specializes in the treatment of breast cancer and will serve as an advisor. In her volunteer role, she will review grant applications, provide strategic direction and help to develop and implement forthcoming oncofertility educational programs.
Dr. Sudheendra is an investigator on several clinical trials and her research has been published in Clinical Breast Cancer and Journal of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Sudheendra is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and serves on several of their national committees for breast cancer therapy.
Dr. Sudheendra is passionate about making sure that her patients and their families have a solid understanding of their type of cancer and the recommended treatments. Preparation for the journey ahead is important to her and that’s why she is passionate about fertility preservation and inclusive options for building a family in survivorship.
