Emergency Fertility Preservation Grants
If you’re looking to preserve your fertility and have not yet received cancer treatment, consider applying for an emergency preservation grant. Grants range from $500-$2500 and are paid directly to the clinic (no reimbursements) and must be used within 60 days.
We accept emergency preservation applications all the time.

If you apply on or before the 14th of the month, you’ll be in Emergency Preservation Cycle A. You will be notified if you are selected by the 16th.

If you apply on or after the 15th of the month you’ll be in Emergency Preservation Cycle B. You will be notified if you are selected by the 2nd of the following month.
Post-Cancer Treatment Family Building Grants
If you’ve completed your cancer treatment, you can apply for a grant through our quarterly review process. Grants may be used for a frozen embryo transfer, embryo preservation, egg preservation, semen preservation, storage fees, adoption, and surrogacy. Grants are $500-$2500 and are paid directly to the clinic or agency and must be used within 120 days.
Please do not apply if you cannot use the grant within the timeline. The grant cycle may close if we reach capacity before the deadline.
Grant Cycle #12 – Jan. 1 – April 6, 2026 5 p.m. EST – Grants will be awarded on April 15, 2026 and must be used by August 2026
Grant Cycle #13 – April 7 – June 30, 2026 5 p.m. EST – Grants will be awarded on April 15, 2026 and must be used by November 2026
Grant Cycle #14 – July 1 – September 30, 2026 5 p.m. EST – Grants will be awarded on April 15, 2026 and must be used by February 2027
Grant Cycle #15 – October 1 – December 31, 2026 5 p.m. EST – Grants will be awarded on April 15, 2026 and must be used by May 2027
Applicant Requirements
- Diagnosis of cancer. (Those with a predisposition to cancer or a non cancer diagnosis requiring chemotherapy don’t qualify.)
- Establish financial hardship through 1040 (IRS tax form).
- Have no fertility insurance coverage.
- Between the ages of 13 and 39.
- Receive fertility treatment at a facility or work with an agency based in the U.S.
- Oncology provider must recommend and provide documentation that fertility preservation, treatment or surrogacy is necessary and appropriate because of cancer diagnosis.
- Not yet a parent.
Please do not request an application unless you meet ALL of these requirements. We are not able to make exceptions for any criteria due to the demand of qualified applicants.
