Fertility and Family Building for GYN Cancer Survivors

We’re partnering with the Patient Empowerment Network (PEN) to educate gynecological cancer patients and survivors about fertility preservation and family building options. Highlights of this free webinar include:

  • Dr. Joshua Klein, a reproductive endocrinologist and fertility specialist at Extend Fertility will discuss fertility preservation options, when to check fertility after cancer treatment, and third party reproduction options.
  • Erin Bodenschatz, a uterine cancer survivor, and Jade Lemke, an ovarian cancer survivor will share their fertility/family building stories.
  • Aicha Diallo from PEN will share their GYN cancer resources.
  • Megan Scherer from Worth the Wait will discuss adoption, financial and psychosocial resources.

Featured Speaker, Dr. Joshua Klein, Extend Fertility 

Dr. Klein is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist, leads Extends Fertility Medical Practice, and is an assistant professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He earned his medical degree at Harvard University, completing his residency in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Massachusetts General and Brigham & Women’s Hospitals. He did his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Columbia University and is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Klein sits on the medical board of several fertility advocacy organizations and regularly gives lectures and presentations to community groups on infertility and fertility preservation. He is a Castle Connelly Top Doctor and has been named a Super Doctor each year since 2017.
