Worth the Wait Advocates at International Oncology Conference

The ASCO annual meeting is widely considered one of the largest and most prestigious cancer research conferences in the world.

Not only did Worth the Wait attend, but we were selected to have an ASCO-sponsored booth in the patient advocacy area.

More than 40,000 attendees filtered through the exhibit hall and so many people stopped by to learn about why fertility preservation and family building is so important to young adult cancer patients and survivors. We also attended an oncofertility session to learn the latest about opportunities and ethics.

We couldn’t have done it without our team of loyal volunteers, including Mike Scherer, Wendy Trout, Samantha Macchia and Annie Swanson.
