Chantal Kabwasa-Henly, a Worth the Wait grant recipient now turned patient advocate, appeared on WMAR-2 in Baltimore to share her story about fighting two types of cancer and pursuing surrogacy.
We’re proud to have watched Chantal’s passion for advocacy grow. She spoke on a patient advocacy panel with Worth the Wait at the Oncofertility Consortium in 2025, attended a Federal fertility preservation forum in DC with Worth the Wait in 2025, shared her story at an Externally Led Patient Focused Drug Development meeting with the FDA and is now a member of the Oncofertility Speakers Bureau.
