In early December we served as patient advocates at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS), the world’s largest breast cancer conference.
While many attendees came for the groundbreaking science, our focus was on the conversations that matter deeply to young patients—hope, fertility, and the family-building options they deserve. We were grateful to connect with patient advocates, physicians, and survivors, and to spend time with our incredible advisors, Megan-Claire J. Chase and Dr. Preeti Sudheendra, as well as nonprofit partners.
A theme we heard again and again: there are still far too few resources for fertility preservation and family building for young patients. And young metastatic patients, in particular, are often not presented with fertility options at all.
We’re honored to be part of this community—working to close these gaps and ensure every young breast cancer patient has access to the future they envision.
